“Performing Arts Festival”

1. Introduction
The main topic of this proposal is about the
school festival. Festivals are a vital part of our school life and bring the
entire community together to both witness the students in public performances
and to participate in communal rituals, plays and celebrations. Many of our
festivals are based on traditional holidays (Chinese New Year, Christmas,
Waisak Day, Idul Fitri, Teacher’s Day, etc.). Intra-School Students Organization
of Mondial School will held a performing arts for all students. Performing arts are a form of art in
which artists use their voices and/or their bodies, often in relation to other
objects, to convey artistic expression. It is different from visual arts, which is when artists use paint/canvas or various
materials to create physical or static art objects. Performing arts include several disciplines, each
performed in front of a live audience. This stage is often done to
increase the appreciation of the students in the role of world and improve the
lacking confidence in students personality.
There are variety of
different kinds of performance art in terms of media, purpose, theme, style,
location, or size of the audience. It may be either scripted or unscripted,
random or carefully orchestrated; spontaneous or otherwise carefully planned
with or without audience participation. The
performance can be live or via media; the performer can be present or
absent. It can be any situation that involves four basic elements: time, space,
the performer's body, or presence in a medium, and a relationship between
performer and audience. Performance art can happen anywhere, in any type of
venue or setting and for any length of time. The actions of an individual or a
group at a particular place and in a particular time constitute the work.
Within the many kinds of performing arts, one the most performed are musics. Music is an art form which is
performed using a variety of instruments and styles and is divided into genres.
As an art form, music can occur in live or recorded formats, and can be planned or improvised.
While dance is generally refers to human movement, typically rhythmic and to music,
used as a form of audience entertainment in a performance setting. Dance is a
powerful impulse, but the art of dance is that impulse channeled by skillful
performers into something that becomes intensely expressive and that may
delight spectators who feel no wish to dance themselves. Another kinds of
performing arts is theatre, which concerned with acting out
stories in front of an audience, using a combination of speech, gesture, music,
dance, sound and spectacle.
In addition, music, dance and theatre are going to be
performed in this festival to improve students’s creativity and to deepen their
passion in dance field. There are also some performances performed by Mondial’s
selected top bands and singers to light up the atmosphere into an exciting and
lively atmosphere. This performing arts festival is held to cheer students in
their last year up to do their final exam well.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this Performing Arts
Ferstival are the following:

To cheer students in their last year up to do their
final exam well
2)
To improve the student creativity
The main purpose of this event is as an
opportunity to showcase the talents and abilities of the students of these
schools. From start to show ability of extracurricular exist, such as dance.

To increase students' appreciation of the works of art
and cultural areas.
4)
To display various works of art and traditional culture
5)
To grow nasionalism in students through the traditional
performances
6)
To entertain students through the performing art
3. Theme
The theme for this festival is enjoy every
challenge with a light heart which encourage students to enjoy the festival to
relieve their stress and ease their worry so that they could do well in exam
calmly and worry-less.

Thus this proposal we submitted as a
report. We need the support, guidance, and advice from the principal to the
implementation of this performing arts, so that it can goes smoothly and
successfully.
